About the Arkansas Master'Singers

Who Are

The Master'Singers are ministers of music/worship leaders, directors, accompanists, choir leaders, pastors, staff members and staff spouses from Arkansas Baptist churches in every corner of the state and all places in between. These men and women find incredible joy in singing and worshiping together, in sharing fellowship, and in praying and supporting each other as they serve weekly in their respective churches.

The Men's Chorus began in 1961 as the Arkansas Singing Men. The Women's Chorus was organized as the Arkansas Singing Women in 1973, and the combined chorus was formed soon after that. The group adopted the name "Master'Singers" in the early 1990's. The Master'Singers are a Cooperative Program ministry of the Arkansas Baptist Convention.

Annual venues include State Convention meetings and Concerts of Worship in local churches as well as other venues such as prisons. The music of the Master'Singers has been heard around the world, encouraging churches and sharing the message of Jesus Christ in Guatemala, Brazil, Germany, Russia, and in Ukraine in 2014.
